Privacy policy

Your name, email address and password hash when you sign up. The videos you upload or link, the transcripts and clips we generate from them, and the settings you choose. Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, kept for security and debugging. Payment details are collected by Stripe; we never see your card number.

To run the Service you asked for: transcribing speech, finding moments, rendering clips, sending emails you requested (verification, password reset, invites), billing, and keeping the Service secure. Our legal basis is performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running a safe service.

Only you and teammates you invite. Staff access is limited to what is needed to fix a problem you report. To provide the Service we use these processors, each bound by contract to handle data only on our instructions:

• Deepgram — speech-to-text
• OpenAI — speech-to-text and/or moment analysis
• Anthropic — moment analysis and copywriting
• Stripe — payments
• Resend — transactional email
• Google — sign-in (name and email only)

Uploads and rendered clips are deleted after the retention period shown on the pricing page for your plan. Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of you closing it, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by emailing legal@clypt.pro. If you are in the EEA, UK or a jurisdiction with similar law you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your supervisory authority.

One strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Data is encrypted in transit. Media is stored on servers we control or on storage we contract, with access limited to the Service.

The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
